It provides a life-changing opportunity for our students to travel for 2 weeks to London and Edinburgh, attending theatre workshops and world-class shows, rehearsing and performing 4 times at the Fringe Festival and of course sight-seeing! Ms. Poe will choose a show to take to the festival that involves all of those interested in attending. For more information please look at their website: www.ahstf.org.
The total cost of the trip will be approximately $6200. Those interested in attending will be responsible for payment of the trip and fundraising activities to help defer the cost. (AHSTF does provide materials to assist in fundraising efforts) A parent committee responsible for the trip is being organized. Please let us know below if your parent is interested in assisting with the fundraising and organization of the trip.
We need a commitment and initial payment of $650 for participation in the trip by September 5th.
The full payment plan is as follows*:
September 5, 2014 - $650
October 24, 2014 $750
January 9, 2015 $1000
March 6, 2015 $1000
April 17, 2015 $1000
June 6, 2015 $2000 approximately (final balance due will be invoiced mid-May)
Please see further details of Pricing and Payment Policy.
If you are paying through Paypal you will need to pay an additional 3% in Paypal Fees.
*If we have less than 15 people who are attending the trip the cost will be increased to cover the cost of Ms. Poe's trip (fundraising activities will pay for this cost first, but if fundraising does not fully cover her cost, the cost will be divided amongst those attending).
Parents are welcome to attend the trip - they will be responsible for the same payment schedule outline above, except the final balance will be discounted by $350 for non-performers.

We hope you will audition for our fall musical – THE ADDAMS FAMILY. This new, fun show will have a place for everyone that wants to be involved, and the casting allows for a mix-up of talent that will allow a variety of students to be highlighted. There are rich stylized characters, fan-favorite ensemble numbers, and another fresh-from-Broadway-opportunity. Opening Halloween weekend provides for some twists and tie-ins that will pull in strong crowds and appeal to a variety of audiences. We have scheduled a late “come-in-costume” performance Friday, October 31st, following the home football game, where our cast will perform “Thriller” at Halftime with McLean HS’s award-wining band. ADDAMS FAMILY is a great first show opportunity to get everyone involved and to grow while being part of the creepy-cool fun!
If you aren't interested in performing, we would love to have you on our tech crew! Please email email@example.com with your interest.
Performance Dates: October 30-November 9, 2014
Show Information: THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
